This weekend was the perfect antidote to the wedding planning anxiety I was feeling. Don’t get me wrong I am so excited to plan our wedding but sometimes my overactive mind combined with my mom’s overactive mind (most definitely an inherited trait) puts me into overload.
Saturday was one of those perfect days, the weather was nice, we slept in, and though there was wedding talk, it was minimal.
Ryan and I went to our local grocery store, assembled salads from the salad bar, bought some sushi and set out for a picnic and some exploring at the IMA. The IMA has 100 acres to explore, we didn’t explore it all but we did walk around for an hour or two until it got unbearably hot. We decided to save the indoor IMA experience for a day that didn’t have beautiful outdoor weather. We are also resolved to attend one of the summer nights films at the IMA, we have not decided which one yet. But the prospect of sitting here drinking wine with friends would be so much fun!
Even the Indy Star felt compelled to talk about the IMA in the Sunday issue mapping out the 100 acres of museum territory. Read the article here
