storms

“I am not afraid of storms, for I am learning how to sail my ship.” -Louisa May Alcott

I love Louisa May Alcott and I love Little Women (perhaps I will watch the Winnona Rider adaptation tonight). I wish I lived into this quote for real. I fear life’s storms, when they happen I think …

quick quick let’s fix it and move on everything is great, nothing to see here.No I don’t want to talk about it. Let’s pretend it never happened.

Maybe the key is not trying to rush through the storm and “get it over with” maybe I need to learn to ride it out. There is a lesson to learn in the storms and lessons to learn during the clear skies. Am I the only one who does not want to admit when things are rough? I bet not.
