Professionally I work in public relations and marketing at a small locally based trade association.  I’m not exactly sure how I ended up in the PR program at Ball State – but man am I thankful I did. I love what I do.

Outside of work I’m a blog stalker,a wannabe cook, an avid DIY-er and a thrifter to the core.

I am slowly finding my new life rhythm.  I have wonderful friends and family who are a constant reflection of what a blessed life I lead.

“Woman must come of age by herself. This is the essence of “coming of age” – to learn not to depend on another, nor to feel she must prove her strength by competing with another. In the past, she has swung between these two opposite poles of dependence and competition, of Victorianism and Feminism. Both extremes throw her off balance; neither is the center, the true center of being a whole woman, She must find her true center alone. She must become whole.”- Anne Morrow Lindbergh, Gift from the Sea

Proverbs 4:23
